Donna Gibbs

Ms. Donna Myrtle Gibbs, age 66, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1959, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Mr. Norman Gibbs Jr. and the late Ms. Myrtle Whittaker Gibbs.

Donna was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished her children and family above all else. She had a special love for water-whether at the beach or poolside, those were her happiest places. Donna also enjoyed shopping, tending to flower gardens, and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She took great pride in her career in accounting, a role she truly loved.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Myrtle Whittaker Gibbs.
Her absence will be deeply felt by her surviving family: her father, Mr. Norman Gibbs Jr.; her sons, Donald (Stacy) Gentry and Tim Gentry Jr.; and her brothers, Norman (Ginger) Gibbs III, Ronald (Pam) Gibbs, and Brian Gibbs; and to all those who knew and loved Donna.

To honor Donna's requests, a private visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
