Donna Goffin

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Donna Marie Goffin, 66, of Wildwood, Florida. Donna passed peacefully on Sunday, October 5, at HCA North Florida Hospital in Gainesville with her family and friends by her side, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Winchester, MA, the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa Sullivan. She was a graduate of Northeast Regional Vocational High School and Middlesex Community College.
Donna brought joy to everyone she met and will be remembered for her beautiful smile, generous heart and willingness to help others. She was the "favorite" of everyone in the family.
Her true pride and joy were her sons John and Paul Goffin. She was so proud of all of their achievements and cherished every milestone in their lives. She loved her family and never missed holidays, graduations and special occasions and was always there to help in any time of need. She was a cherished Aunt and Grand Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her nieces Colleen and her husband Todd Cassler, Sandra and her husband Jason Beaver; and their children Kenzie, Davis, Gavin and Kiley especially loved their time with her including annual vacations in NH. She was devoted to her nephews JR Santangelo and his wife Hillary, Michael Santangelo; and their children Willow, Dante, Jax, Zoey and Callie. She was the loving sister of Kathleen Sullivan, Karen Warren, Jacquelyn Santangelo and Robert Sullivan. She was predeceased by two brothers Mark and James Sullivan.
Donna loved riding the waves at Hampton Beach and going to Bingo with her sister Jackie. Earlier this year, she was able to fulfill her dream of moving to Florida to be with one of her best friends, Diane Medeiros. She said this is where she and her rescue dogs, Emmie and Ollie, belonged - in the sunshine! Over the years, she adopted many rescue dogs that she loved and nurtured back to physical and emotional health. Her devotion and love of her dogs spoke to her kindheartedness and selflessness.
Donna worked as a Customer Service Representative for Hornwood, Inc., formerly Game Time Fabrics of Lowell, MA for almost 30 years. Her colleagues and friends, described her as "Dedicated, dependable, and deeply respected by her teammates, colleagues, and customers alike. Donna embodied professionalism and kindness in everything she did. She had a gift for making others feel heard, valued, and supported whether they were customers in need or coworkers facing a challenge. Donna's knowledge, reliability, and warmth made her irreplaceable. More than that, her friendship and quiet strength left an imprint on everyone lucky enough to work with her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of dedication, patience, and kindness will always remain part of the Game Time family." It was a comfort to Donna during her illness to have the support of her company.
The family will be forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff at HCA North Florida Hospital. In the short time she was there, the exceptional care, devotion, and kindness they showed brought her comfort and allowed her to pass with dignity.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. Interment will be private.
