Donna was born in Coleman, Wisconsin to Beatrice (Tupper) Winkler and Adolph Winkler. Donna had four siblings, Amel Winkler, Nathalie Spreeman, William Winkler and Deborah Winkler. She was the last of her siblings to pass.
She was a loving mother to three, Lori Jacquet (Todd), Brenda Griffin and Harlon Griffin. Grandmother to Steven Sanders (Elizabeth), Nicole Jacquet, Joshua Sanders (Rachel), Megan Fuller (Darren), Ashley Jacquet and Sandra Griffin. Great Grandmother of Mollie Sanders, Everly Sanders, Finley Sanders, Elijah Sanders, DJ Fuller, Micah Sanders, Aaliyah Fuller and Addison Sanders.
Donna was raised as a hard-working farm girl. She graduated from Coleman High School and became a CNA and moved to Green Bay where she met her husband Robert Steven Griffin while he was on leave from the Army. They were married until his passing in 1994. She remained a CNA for 43 years. She loved to take walks and worked hard to ensure her family thrived and loved watching them grow. If you didn’t eat your sauerkraut, she might whack you with a wooden spoon but it was all with love (joke).
