It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Gail Grubbs, who left us peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 64, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Americus, GA, and Saint Johns, FL, Donna graced this world with her warmth and kindness, leaving an enduring mark on the lives she touched.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Wallace and Jo Ann Walden, Donna grew to be a remarkable woman of deep faith, who cherished her family and held a profound love for the Lord. She shone brightly in the lives of those around her. Her spirit was a beacon of light, guiding and nurturing her family, and will forever remain a source of inspiration to those who she left behind.
Donna is survived by her beloved children, Jennifer Cromer, Jacqueline Whited (Adam), Amanda Storm (James), and John Grubbs (Hannah); along with her treasured grandchildren, Damion (Gracie), Caden, Maddox, Dalton, Olivia, IvyRae, and Maggie, whom she adored and was so proud of. She is also survived by her caring sister, Cindy Law (Greg). In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Walden.
In celebration of her life, an intimate graveside service will be held in the spring, where her family will come together to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna’s honor to The American Cancer Society.
Donna's presence was truly a blessing, and her legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.
