Donna Kay Strickley Hancock, age 69, of Walton, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY, surrounded by her three children. Donna was the Co-Owner of Hancock Drain Service in Walton and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence. Donna enjoyed cooking, camping, gardening, and listening to her favorite music from the 1970s. She was an avid Coke drinker and had a well-known love of pickles. Above all, her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her beloved husband, Rick, her cherished family and friends, and her beloved Yorkie, BeBe.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Hancock; her parents, John and Anna Johnson Strickley; and her siblings, James Strickley, Alma Lee Strickley, Johnny Strickley, and Robert Strickley. She is lovingly survived by her children, Jeanette Simpson (Travis), Eric Hancock (Kelly), and Justin Hancock (Jennifer); her siblings, Joan Ludwig, Patricia Corry, William Strickley (Vicki), Peggy Seibert, and Tim Strickley; and her grandchildren, Owen Simpson (Meda), Luke Simpson, Anna Simpson, Ella Hancock, and Brody Hancock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, 26 E. Villa Place, Ft. Thomas, KY 41075.
