Donna Harle Obituary
Donna Ann Hager Harle, of Chalfont, PA died on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 77.
Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of Amy M. Umstead Hager of Westfield, PA and the late Edwin Hager and grandmother of the late Shawn Guinan.
Donna graduated from Central Bucks High School in 1965. Donna's contributions to the community were many. Including a member of the New Britain Township Republican Club, Soroptomist International and Chalfont Fire Ladies Auxiliary. Her devotion to her parish Saint Jude was extraordinary. Active in being a Sunday school teacher, eucharistic minister, collection counting and numerous prayer groups. Although that was part of her calling, her most treasured meaning in life was her steadfast love for her daughters and grandchildren. She was present in all their lives and prayed daily for their well being. All felt her deep love and will be forever grateful for her devotion. Her family is comforted in knowing that she is at eternal rest with God's arms wrapped around her.
She is survived by her five daughters, Lisa Thomas and her companion Howie Kulp of Quakertown, PA, Lori Watters and her husband Ross of Chester VA, Lanie Eckelmeyer and her companion Mike Mullen of Perkasie, Leslie Guinan and her husband Chris of Chalfont, Leane Halter and her husband Brad of Perkasie, her brother Doug Hager and his wife Rose of Westfield, PA and her sister Bonnie Kio of Arkansas. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, David (Calynde) Thomas, Angela Thomas, Jesse Thomas, Amber Watters, Rachel Watters, Andrew Mushnick, Kathryn Halter, Tyler (Amanda) Guinan, Riley Guinan, Alex Guinan, Emily Eckelmeyer and William Eckelmeyer and five great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Peyton, Jacob, Michael and Edith.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 10:00am until her funeral mass, 11:00am in St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
