Samuel Shear Obituary
Born in Lancaster, PA, to Ruth Shear and later adopted by her husband, Walter, Samuel attended Franklin & Marshall University and Temple University. He was the owner of a successful waterproofing business, Premier Waterproofing, for over 30 years.
Sam loved music and was an avid drummer. He and Jacki enjoyed many vacations in Barbados and Bermuda, where he spent time golfing, and they enjoyed great food and relaxed together. A devoted Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, Sam could often be found passionately cheering-and yelling-at the TV during games.
In addition to his wife, Samuel is survived by his two stepdaughters, Stephanie Catt (Jeff) and Jennifer Johnson (David); and his grandchildren, Ella, Kyra, Natalie, and Grant. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Rachel Shear.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
