Donna Harper - Dirks, 97, of Hutchinson, passed away September 7, 2025, at Wesley Towers, in Hutchinson, KS after a brief illness. She was born April 18th, 1928, in Hutchinson, KS to Earl and Clara Feese.

Donna graduated from Hutchinson High School 1945. Donna lived most of her life in Hutchinson working for Southwestern Bell Telephone and later as a PBX operator at Cessna Fluid Power. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #68 and a member of Park Place Christian Church.

She married Brad Harper in 1946 after he returned from the war. He passed in 1988. She then married Leonard Dirks in 1993 and he passed in 2007.

Donna is survived by one son Steven B. Harper (Karen) of Goodyear, Arizona. Two Stepdaughters, Jo Martin (Dan) of Salina, KS and Jan Moore (Doug) of Emporia, Kansas. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Rodney and Larry Feese, and stepdaughter Carol Heinlein.

Memorial Service for Donna will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Cremation has taken place and Elliott Mortuary is in charge of the service with burial to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
