Donna M. Liebman, 88, of Dundee, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 after suffering a stroke a week earlier. She was born in Winona, MN on March 1, 1937, the daughter of Romeo and Mabel (nee Thompson) Lieberman. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1955 and graduated from Winona State University in three years with a B.S. in Library Science.
Donna worked at the Bradford Exchange in Chicago and resided in Des Plaines, IL until moving to Dundee, WI. There she worked part-time for the Campbellsport News. Donna was an active member and Director of the Dundee Mill Park, Crooked Trails Snowmobile Club, Long Lake Preservation Association, and Ladies of the Lake. She worked tirelessly for the annual Corn Roast and Dundee Classic Car Show. Donna was a great member of the Dundee community and will be missed by all. Donna was a lover of animals, especially of cats and her beloved Oliver.
Donna is survived by her sister, Marilyn Appeldorn, nieces Cheryl (Tom) Schnettler, Laurie (Tony) Sampair, Carol (Pat) Miller, brother Bob Lieberman and friend Mary Lou, nephew Todd (Kristin) Lieberman, niece Wendy Lieberman, niece Molly (Marty) Bevan, nephew Brett Lieberman, also Catherine (Robert) Lawrence, and Lois Klimpke. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her best friend and soulmate of 48 years George Klimpke, brother-in-law Roger Appeldorn, sister-in-law Diane Lieberman, and Curtis Klimpke.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 26th beginning at 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 3:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W, Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Doug Birr will officiate and burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dundee following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fond du Lac Humane Society or Leader Dogs for the Blind.
Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Roadhouse in Dundee from 4:30 to 6:30 pm following the cemetery service on Thursday, June 26th.
