born on December 12, 1953, sadly passed away on March 1, 2025. She leaves behind a profound legacy of love and selflessness that will resonate within the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, Donna adored her family above all else. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandson were the cornerstone of her world, and she embraced each moment spent with them, filling their lives with warmth and joy.
Donna was not just a mother; she was a guiding light—radiating kindness and compassion at every turn. An extraordinarily selfless individual, she would give the shirt off her back to help those in need. Her charitable spirit touched the lives of many, and her unwavering dedication to supporting others was an inspiration. She had an innate ability to connect with people, never having met a stranger. Through her outgoing and fun-loving nature, she created bonds and friendships that transcended time and circumstance.
For a decade, Donna owned and operated Donna's Sandwich Shop, which became a beloved fixture in the community. Her warm smiles and delicious meals brought people together, nurturing not only their appetites but also their spirits. Beyond her role as a business owner, Donna's generous heart was evident in her years spent driving a school bus. She took pride in ensuring the safety and happiness of countless children, often becoming a trusted friend and mentor.
Donna was a hard worker who never stopped striving to make life better for her family and others around her. Her energy and passion for life were infectious, captivating everyone fortunate enough to share in her laughter and warmth.
As we remember Donna Joyce Mayfield, let us celebrate the beautiful life she led—a life filled with love, kindness, and a tireless spirit of generosity. Though she may have left this world, the impact she made will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
