Donna McCann, 83, of Manchester, New Hampshire passed away [peacefully / surrounded by family on February 24, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1942 in Andover Massachusetts to George and Isabella Hurst (Craig). She was the Former spouse of Robert Micheal McCann Sr. in 1966 and they made their home in Salem, New Hampshire, where they Raised their 3 children, Bobby, Robin and Brenda.
Donna worked as a Typist for Textron / Avco in Tewksbury , Massachusetts for many years until moving to New Port Richey, Florida. At Andover High school she was a snare drummer in the all girl Marching band, A member of the order of the eastern star, and Rainbow girls. Later in life she enjoyed going to dances, music and sitting outside with her neighbors when it was nice outside. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, kindness and sense of humor.
She is survived by her son Robert McCann and Daughter in law Iinda McCann(Miglorino) of Raymond , New Hampshire , her daughter Robin McCann of Manchester , New Hampshire and daughter Brenda McCann of Manchester , New Hampshire. grandchildren , Christopher Desmond of Manchester , New Hampshire, Brittany Desmond of Brentwood, New Hampshire, Zakari Makin of Manchester, New Hampshire and Jacob McCann of Manchester New Hampshire, as well as two great grandchildren Cedric Desmond (Grossi) of Brentwood, New Hampshire and Anavaeh Mae McCann of Bedford , New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her Brothers George Hurst of Lawrence Massachusetts, Craig Hurst of Chelsea Massachusetts, and her Sister Marlene Holmes of Bridgewater, New Hampshire (Hooksett, NH).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, details to follow.
