Donna M. Miller, age 91, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. She was born in Erie on March 20, 1933, daughter of the late Henry and Florence Schulz.
Donna was a graduate of McKean Joint High School. She worked for Pulakos Candies, Tonawanda Chevy, Erie Resistor and various other jobs prior to retirement. Donna was a longtime and faithful volunteer with the St. Patrick's Food Pantry. She enjoyed knitting blankets for the Hamot Prenatal Clinic, reading, dancing, and playing bingo. Donna was also a country music fan.
Donna passed her love of crocheting to her great-great-grandchildren. She lived a long, full life and will be missed by all.
Donna is survived by one daughter, Rita Chrisman (Lynn); grandchildren she adopted as her own, Glenda Gunn, JoAnn Al-Hachami (Asama), Charles Miller and Chris Miller; grandchildren, Angela Al-Hachami (Alaa), Loren Chrisman and Audrey Chrisman; two brothers, Frank Schulz (Jane) and Paul Schulz (Mary); two sisters, Judy Sheel and Joan Holden (Richard); 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one soon to be born, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Reynolds; one grandson, Rusty Reynolds; and two brothers, Marvin and Richard Schulz.
Friends and family will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service there at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Waterford Cemetery.
