Donna M. Mowinski

Donna M. Mowinski, 68, of Leominster, MA died peacefully Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Fitchburg Healthcare Center, following a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Donna was born on August 2, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph Marabito and Theresa (Picklo) Marabito. She was raised in Philadelphia and was a 1975 graduate of Hallahan Catholic High School. She had worked for many years for the City of Philadelphia in probation and parole and had even taken classes to be a corrections officer.

Donna and her children moved to Leominster in 2004 to be closer to her family. Donna always loved to dance and was a creative writer of short stories, mainly fiction. She loved to walk and spend days at the beach and enjoyed listening to Barry Manilow. Her biggest love was her children and her cat Pumpkin.

Donna was predeceased by her father and by her brother, Joseph A. Marabito.

In addition to her mother, Theresa Marabito of Auburn, Maine, Donna is also survived by her daughter, Kristie Langlais of Springvale, Maine, her son, Stephen Mowinski of Leominster, MA, her sister, Annette and her husband, John Keis of Auburn, Maine, her sister-in-law, Sue Marabito of Commerce City, Colorado, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Family and Friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (US Rte. 202) Jaffrey, NH 03452.

A Catholic Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated immediately following calling hours, at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish in Jaffrey as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey.
