Ronald Dufault Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Richardson Funeral Home - Leominster on Mar. 20, 2026.
We come together to celebrate the life of Ronald "Ron" Dufault, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather, who left us on March 16, 2026, in Boston, MA. Born on June 16, 1957, in Woonsocket, RI. Ron's journey through life was marked by his loving nature, his quick wit, and his unyielding kindness.

He leaves behind a loving family: his devoted wife of almost 50 years, Linda; his son, Ron Jr., and daughter-in-law Joanna; his daughter, Caitlin; his mother, Helene; his siblings: Sonny and his significant other Diane, Elaine, Richard and his wife Debbie; his sister-in-law Gloria; his beloved granddaughters, Kaelene and Alice; grandsons, Isaiah and Jordan. Ron was predeceased by his father, Leo. His memory will also be cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of life-long friends who were touched by his warm spirit.

Ron graduated from Blackstone-Millville High in 1975, laying the foundation for a life filled with learning, laughter, and love. He was a man who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life from cheering on his favorite New England sports teams to enjoying the beauty of Maine's Nubble Light House or simply just sitting at the beach. His love for these moments was only surpassed by the joy he found in sharing them with family and friends and sharing his love of sports with his buddy Isaiah. Ron's passion for music, particularly the songs of Bob Dylan, resonated through the halls of his home and in the hearts of those who knew him. His love for reading was yet another facet of his ever-curious mind, spending hours at the library.

Ron's legacy is one of love and laughter, a man who brought light into the lives of those around him. His kind heartedness, gentle soul and humor were the glue that held his family and friends together. We remember a life well-lived, filled with moments that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his journey. Ron's memory will continue to remind us to cherish the joy in everyday moments, to nurture the bonds of family and friendship and to always approach life with a loving and kind heart. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life for Ron at The Elks Lodge 754 Southbridge St., Auburn, MA on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:30am-3pm. Lunch will be served 12:30pm-1:30pm.
