Funeral service for Donna Neal, age 70, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs with Bro. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby, Texas with Delbert Miller, Paul Garrett, Randy Millsap, Brandon Neal, James Pool, Michael Morgan, and Bryan Adams serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Ms. Neal passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Donna Kay Neal was born on August 26, 1954 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Weldon O’dell and Peggy Jane (Pierce) Millsap. She married David Howard Neal in VanZandt County on May 8, 1992. Donna worked at Carriage House Manor for many years and found it very rewarding work. She enjoyed cooking meals for friends and family and looked forward to decorating for every season.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Melanie Darden of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sons, Michael Morgan of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Brandon Neal of Van, Texas; grandchildren, MaKenna Morgan and Tyler Morgan; brother, Randy Millsap; sister, Rhonda Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon and Peggy Millsap; husband, David Howard Neal; daughter, Misty Morgan; and sister, Bonny Millsap Garrett.
