Stella Jean Miles Neal was born April 2, 1939, to the late Albert and Pauline Miles, and she entered into her eternal rest on Sunday August 31, 2025, at her home in Springfield. She was baptized at an early age and had a strong faith in Christ. Stella Jean was educated in the Robertson County School system. She went on to have a successful career in nursing in Los Angeles, CA, and always enjoyed helping others, especially her family.

Stella joined in matrimony to the late James "Sonny" Harris and to this union, three children were born. After his death, she married the late Earl Neal of Los Angeles. Stella enjoyed her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and was known for often hosting many Thanksgiving dinners in her home. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Felecia "Penny" Miles, and by her siblings: Joseph Miles, Charlie Miles, and Verreal Allen.

Stella leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter: Patricia Harris, her sons: Timothy "Bubba" Harris and James "Rusty" Harris, her loving sister: Janice Miles Jones, her stepson: Brian Neal, her devoted granddaughter: Lakaya "K-Bug" Suggs, her devoted grandson: Ewell "Tony" Harris, her granddaughter: Patrice Harris, her grandson: Ger-rae (Kietta) Harris, nine great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and by her special friend: Boochie Hyde.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with her family serving as pallbearers and flower bearers. The family will receive friends on Monday September 8th from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express their gratitude, thanks, and appreciation for the many acts of kindness that have been extended during their time of bereavement.

"A precious one from us is gone

A voice we loved is still

A place is vacant in our home

That never can be filled.

Memories will live within our hearts

And help us bear our grief

God called her home to give her rest

From pain, as sweet relief."
