Donna Jean Nelson (nee Strock) of St. Charles, IL died peacefully unto Christ on February 23, 2026, after a short illness. Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill Nelson Sr. (2016), her parents Leo and Rose Strock, her granddaughter Samantha McIlhany, and her brother Leo Strock. Loving mother of Deborah Nelson-Maney (Richard), Bill Nelson Jr (Dolores), Dawn McIlhany (Matthew). Cherished Grandmother of Andrew McIlhany (Fiance Ariel), Amanda Reichow (Jake). Dear Sister of Charles Strock (Sandy) and Donald Strock (Cris). Further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Please join us to honor the life of Donna J. Nelson on Sunday April 19th, 2026 from NOON to Three PM at Rockefeller's, 4642 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. We will gather to share memories, laughter, and love. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Nelson family.
