Age 63 of Apollo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Born on July 13, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosemarie (Circosta) Sloan. Donna was a graduate of Churchill Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She spent her working years as a purchasing agent, most recently for FedEx Supply Chain. Her positivity and spirit were guided by her devotion to her family and love for Hallmark moments. Always known to light up a room and impact the lives of any one she met. Her family will always remember her as a loving wife and mother as well as a cherished grandma to her grandson. Donna is survived by her husband Joseph A.; mother of Michael (Taylor) Nepsa and Samantha Nepsa; grandmother of Bauer; sister-in-law Ruth Ann Sloan; aunt of Christopher (Kala Fartini) and Nicole (Jake) Karwoski; great-aunt of Luca. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Mark Sloan. Friends will be received, Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. both days at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday 10:30 at Our Lady of Joy Church of Holy Family Parish.
