Donna L. Painter

Donna L. Painter, 81, of Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her children. She was born January 28, 1944 and was married to Paul Chester Painter for 58 years until his death. Donna was heartbroken soon after and longed to be with Paul everyday. Donna was a wonderful homemaker, who loved the Lord and devoted herself to her family. She loved going to garage sales, reading, and playing card games. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren when she could. Donna was a member of the Little Country Church and dedicated her life to being a Christian. She is survived by three children, Steve (Mary) Painter, Dan (Carla) Painter, and Sherrie (Bill) Buchanan; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. A special thank you to Sherrie, Bill, June, and the angels of Hospice for Donna's care. A celebration of Donna's life will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Little Country Church near Waynesburg. Burial will follow in Baxter's Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services in the church.
