Donna Maria Palmiter, 81, of Apison went into rest on Tuesday, April 08,2025,

surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Rockledge, FL on July 5, 1943, the

daughter of the late Hugh Greek and Florrie (Swinson) Greek.

Donna was a native of Cocoa, FL, she lived in Apison since 1973 and was a devoted

wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker while raising her family and later

worked at Walmart for almost 20 years. She loved to read romance novels, spend time

with family and friends and was a member of the Apison Seventh Day Adventist church.

Her fried chicken and banana bread was loved by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Everett Ray Palmiter, and older

sister Betty Brewer of Cocoa, FL.

She is survived by her sons Donald Palmiter of Chattanooga, Jeffery Palmiter [Carrie] of

Waxhaw, NC, Chad Palmiter of Apison, and daughter Debra Keeney [Mark] of Harrison,

her younger sister Darlene Trotter of Hixson, eight grandchildren, and five great-

grandsons.

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff of Gentiva Hospice

and Charter Senior Living of Cleveland for their care of Donna.

There will be a private family internment service at a later date.
