Donna Pantano, 73, of Rockville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Rockville, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Oliver Neff and Pauline Frances Johndreau. Donna grew up in a close-knit family and carried the values of kindness, strength, and perseverance throughout her life. She was known for her gentle spirit, quiet sense of humor, and deep love for her family.
Donna dedicated her life to raising her children and supporting those around her. Though she lived a modest life, her impact on others was immeasurable. She will be remembered for her thoughtful nature, her ability to find light in difficult times, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving son, Jay Pantano, who was the light of her life. Donna also leaves behind her brother, Patrick Neff and his wife Georgette; and her sister-in-law, Carol Orlowski and her husband Gene. Her memory will also live on in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, each of whom she cared for deeply and treated as her own.
Donna was predeceased by her beloved son, Peter Pantano, whom she held close in her heart every day. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Michael Neff, Robert Neff, and Timmy Neff; and her sisters, Cindy Neff and Karen Neff.
Though her absence leaves a profound void, Donna's legacy of quiet strength, loyalty, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the lives she touched. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those she loved and lost. Services to be held at a later date.
