Donna Park Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lowery - Urban Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. on Feb. 23, 2026.
PARK, DONNA LOREEN (DUNNING), age 91, passed peacefully on February 21, 2026 at her home in Sayre, PA , surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 17, 1934, Donna lived a life marked by devotion to her family and a generous heart that quietly touched many lives. She shared 51 years of marriage with her beloved husband, William R. "Bill" Park, until his passing on December 18, 2003.

While living in Beverly Hills, Florida, Donna was active in the Lions Club and found great purpose in serving others. She had a remarkable eye for hidden treasure and loved visiting yard sales, thrift stores, and setting up at flea markets. Often, she was gathering items so she could provide Christmas gifts to families in need. Because of her thoughtful generosity, many children experienced the joy of the holiday season.

Donna also loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She enjoyed the adventure of setting sail, the sunshine, and time spent with family while exploring new places.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur Dunning and Hilah Horton Dunning; her husband, William R. "Bill" Park; her sisters, Velma Saxon, June Chandler, and Marilyn Brown; her daughters, Patricia A. Hansen and Cynthia M. Park.

She is survived by her children: Mary E. Mitchell of Sayre, PA; Pamela L. Park of Waverly, NY; and James Park of California.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Donald (DJ) Wayman, Tricia Blow, Jessica Bowley, Thomas Mitchell, Natasha Wiest, Joseph Park, Anthony Park, Shannon Seeley, James Seeley, and Nicole Seeley; and a cherished great-grandmother to many great- grandchildren.

Donna's greatest joy was her family. She was loving, resourceful, and quietly strong. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and in the many lives she blessed through her kindness.

A celebration of Donna's life will be scheduled at a later time. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S Main St Athens, PA.
