Donna Pass Parker (Manning), 73, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, following a period of declining health. She was born on March 17, 1951, to the late Max and Glenice Pruitt Pass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Manning; daughter, Kristin Parker; brother, Jerry Pass; sister, Joan Pass Dodd.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Manning Holt; sisters, Avis (Calvin) Lee, Ann (Gerald) Mashburn, Jean Johnson, Vivian Reddick, Patsy Craig; grandchildren, McKenzee Holt, Emma Holt, Adyson Holt; niece, Julie (Joseph) Pass Logan; nephew, Russell Gravitt.
Donna was valedictorian of the Red Bud High School class of 1969. She attended West Georgia College, was the star student at Georgia State, and earned her Bachelors Degree in accounting from Kennesaw State University. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Rev. Jether Cochran officiating. Pallbearers serving are Russell Bennett, Russell Gravitt, Randy Seabolt, Alan Tinney, Johnny White, and Dwight Gentry. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Seven Hills Square in Rome, and Bekah Blanton, Celina Russell, Phillip Wheeler, Ashley Raines of Tapestry Hospice.
