On February 18, 1963, she married the love of her life, James Pipkin, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. The couple initially settled in Irving, Texas, before moving to DeSoto in 1972, where they created countless memories and nurtured their family.

Donna was not just a loving wife; she was also a devoted mother to her daughter, Dana Pipkin, of DeSoto.   She is also survived by her sister in law, Gayle Pugh.  Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she poured her heart and soul into being a nurturing presence in Dana's life. Donna took immense pride in her role as a mother, dedicating herself to creating a warm and loving home filled with support and encouragement.

Beyond her role as a mother, Donna found joy in her close-knit community. She was actively involved in a ladies fellowship group that met every Tuesday for lunch, fostering friendships that brought light and laughter into her life. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness touched the hearts of many.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to thrive in the hearts of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James, her son Jay Pipkin, her brother Denny Jack Pugh, and her sister-in-law Gayle Pugh. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with them now.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held on November 26, 2025, at the Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the remarkable life of a woman who touched so many. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the memories she created and the love she shared. Memorial contributions are encouraged to the TRI CITY ANIMAL SHELTER, 1150 Pleasant Run Rd., Cedar Hill, TX 75104
