Donna L. Rausch

Donna Rausch passed away on January 17, 2023 at Miller's Merry Manor. She was born on November 5, 1933 to Leroy and Christel Beck in Chicago, Illinois.
Donna grew up learning the art of dance. Her younger years were dedicated to dancing all over Chicago. She later married Clyde Rausch and together they had two daughters. They raised their family in Chicago while spending summers in Koontz Lake and later made the permanent move to Koontz Lake to finish raising their children.
For many years, she worked at Johnson Insurance Agency as an insurance agent and secretary. Upon leaving, she went to work for Koontz Lake Missionary Church where she retired as a secretary. She valued her faith and salvation the most. She loved to read her devotions and Bible and kept many journals documenting her faith. Above all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Briggs, Christy (Scott) Clark, five grandchildren, Nathan (Sara) Briggs, Noah (Kristy) Briggs, Nicholas Briggs, Hannah and Jonathan Clark, three great grandchildren, Chloe Clark and Avery and Olivia Briggs and her sister, Bonnie Schallmo. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Henry Clark.
Visiting hours will be from 11:00 to 1:00 CST Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Koontz Lake Missionary Church, 8044 N. SR 23, Walkerton, IN 46574. Funeral Services will also be held at 1:00 CST Saturday, January 21 at the church. Burial will follow at Grovertown Cemetery.
