Donna Regnier Obituary
Donna Mae Regnier (Eppelsheimer), a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Randolph Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old. Born on January 25, 1946, in Kankakee, Illinois, Donna brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. With a keen eye for detail and dedication, she spent many years as a Quality Control Manager, a role in which she took great pride before her retirement. Her work ethic and precision were hallmarks of her career. Outside of her professional life, Donna had a talent for drawing and brought joy to her family and friends with her artwork. She also enjoyed spending time playing cards, a hobby that brought laughter and good times to all who joined her at the card table. Above all, Donna was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Lawrence "Larry" Regnier, whose love was a constant source of strength and companionship. She leaves behind her son, Donald Regnier, and her daughter, Laurie Miller, along with Laurie's husband Frank, all of Randleman. Her legacy extends through her granddaughter, Stephanie Nichols, and her husband Aaron, and two great-grandsons, Scott and Lucas Nichols, who will carry her memory forward with love. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Olive Rowley Eppelsheimer, and her sister, Joyce Varboncouer. Her family's love for her and the fondness with which they remember her are testaments to a life well-lived. In respecting Donna's wishes, the family will hold a service of remembrance at a later date, allowing for personal reflection and celebration of her life and the many ways she touched the hearts of those around her. May Donna Mae Regnier be remembered for her kind spirit, dedication to family, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service in Asheboro is honored to assist the family of Mrs. Donna Regnier.
