Nancy Talbert Obituary
Nancy Annette Brady Talbert, age 83, of Randleman passed away February 8, 2026 at Randolph Hospital. She was born October 26, 1942 in Randolph County, North Carolina the daughter of the late James Russell Brady and Lucille Ingold Brady. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Don" Talbert; sister, Toby Hardister; and brother, Jimmy Brady.
Nancy's life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion. Her career in textile manufacturing at Jockey saw her rise to the position of supervisor, where she dedicated her efforts until her retirement. Outside of work, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always placing the needs and happiness of her family above all else. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the time spent at local flea markets with her beloved husband, Don. They cherished Saturday mornings together, hunting for treasures and deals. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and she delighted in cooking for her family, especially enjoying the lively company of her grandchildren on weekends.
A woman of deep faith, Nancy was a member of Berean Memorial Baptist Church and lived her life by the principles of her Savior. She found comfort and inspiration in gospel music, which she listened to faithfully each Saturday evening. Her legacy is one of love and devotion, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew her. Nancy's memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends, who were blessed by her steadfast kindness and unwavering faith.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kevin Luck and Rusty Luck and wife Jonita; daughter, Sherry Hicks and husband Walt; grandchildren, Derek Luck, Ashton Luck, Jamie Luck, and Tara Luck; sister, Lynn Hudson; brother, Wayne Brady; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Berean Memorial Baptist Church of Sophia, NC. Services are to be announced.
