Donna Marie Reilly, 92, of St. Charles died Wednesday December 6, 2023 at Arbor Gardens Place in Eyota. Donna was born September 8, 1931 in St. Charles to Herman and Erma (Koepsel) Loppnow. The second child of four and only daughter. Donna grew up on the family farm, attended a one-room schoolhouse in St. Charles, and graduated from St. Charles High School. Following high school Donna worked for the telephone company, and at age 19 moved to Seattle with some friends to work for the telephone company. Donna met Ralph Reilly and were married on June 13, 1959 at Berea Moravian Church outside St. Charles. She worked for the phone company until adopting a daughter from Korea. Donna then held various positions from home and in retail. They returned to St. Charles in 2000 where Donna was active in Berea Moravian Church, and enjoyed retirement, especially with her sister-in-law, Beatie.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Tammy, Celso and Avani; twin brothers, William (Shirley) and Bernie Loppnow St. Charles. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 2018, and a brother, Vern Loppnow.
A Service will take place 11 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Berea Moravian Church with Pastor Jodi Heim presiding. Burial will follow in Berea Moravian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Berea Moravian Fellowship Hall, 12370 Berea Drive, St. Charles, MN 55972.
