Donna J Riffel, 74, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. She was born April 15, 1951, in Joliet, Illinois.
Donna spent her career in education and special needs advocacy touching countless lives with her compassion. Donna is survived by her children Jennifer, Tamara, and Steven and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, February 9, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 p.m at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85204.
Catholic Mass: Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 1534 N. Recker Road, Mesa, AZ 85205, followed by a procession to Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home.

My condolences to Donna's family and friends. I had often hoped to reconnect with Donna. We were friends in high school but most importantly found out at that time we are cousins. Her father and my mom were cousins. My mom's maiden name was Dorothy Riffel. I regret that Donna and I did not remain in touch through the years. She and her family are in my prayers.
