Donna Robson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shoffstall Funeral Home - South Chapel on Feb. 7, 2026.
Donna Jean Robson (nee King) passed away peacefully in her sleep February 6, 2026. Born November 21, 1946, in Hickory, North Carolina, she joined the Marine Corps after high school where she met and later married the love of her life, James "Jim" Robson. After the Marines, they moved from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Jim's hometown of Lewistown, Ohio in 1967.

Donna was a talented seamstress and baker. Well known for her beautiful cakes and other baked goods, she earned the nickname, "Cookie Lady" because of her amazing sugar cookies. For generations of area families, no holiday or special occasion was complete without those wonderful cookies.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Jim, her daughter Tina McNamara (James), son James Robson (Ann), grandsons Stephen (Sydney) and Michael (Jaydin) McNamara, granddaughter Allison Rehmert (Brandon), and grandson Mason Wine (Chelsea), as well as great-grandchildren Bexley, Oliver, Sawyer, Henley, Leighton, Layla, and Ryder.

Pastor Rob Kilgore will begin a memorial service to celebrate Donna's life at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview, with visitation from 11 am – 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Otterbein Green Hills or Universal Home Health and Hospice Care

Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, OH. Condolences may be expressed at shoffstallfuneralhome.com.
