Donna Sams

Donna Sams, age 58, of Lockney passed away Sunday, May 2, 2016 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Lockney. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Moore Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements are under the care of Moore Rose Funeral Home of Lockney. Donna was born on January 5, 1958 to Marvin and Rosezell (Bonds) Sams. She lived most of her entire life in Lockney and attended Lockney schools. Donna was an all around fun person. She enjoyed spending time and playing with her grandchildren. Almost equally she enjoyed spending time with her fur babies. Donna was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Jason Peralez and his wife Michelle of Victoria, Texas, Jeffery Peralez and his wife Eliza Peralez of Victoria, Texas, Susie Peralez and her husband Eddie Longoria of Lockney; 12 grandchildren; Zaidence Peralez, Arabella Peralez, Messiah Peralez, Katelynn Longoria, Emily Longoria, Samantha Longoria, Edward Longoria, Jason Peralez, Jr. Bryanna Luna, Jesse Luna, Nicholas Peralez, Alan Peralez, great grandson; Landon Luna, 2 sisters; Lani Brandmire of Knoxville, Tennessee and Valerie Wilson of Chicago, Illinois.
