Donna Schmeier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory - Lady Lake on Aug. 18, 2025.
Donna Frances Schmeier nee Shepley, 89, of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Addison, IL, passed peacefully with family. Beloved Wife of Lawrence Schmeier, Loving Mother of Randy Warczynski, Robert Warczynski, Ronald (Leslie) Warczynski, Raymond (Nancy) Warczynski, Pamela Warczynski, late Paula Bronson, Richard (Gina) Warczynski. Cherished Grandmother of Ryan Warczynski, Julie (Jim) Marquardt, Amy (TJ) Sexton, Jenell (Michael) Gish, Jamie (Tina) Warczynski, Richard Bronson, James Bronson, Nicollette (Eddie) Fernandez, Carly (David) Brooker, Paige Warczynski. Great Grandmother of 12 and 1 on the way. Dear Sister of the late Dolores Vitulski, the late Douglas Shepley, the late Duane Shepley, (Bernadine) Shepley, Darwin (Janice) Shepley, the late Darrel (Marianne) Shepley. What Donna cherished most in life was her family. From the time she was in High School, she knew she wanted to get married and have lots of children, and so she did; 7 children all while in her 20's. Donna was very loved by her children, step-children and their spouses, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was gathering around the table with the people she loved; playing cards, eating, laughing, joking and having a great time. Donna had loved playing cards her entire life. Whenever she got together with her children, siblings, grandchildren and her many friends, the cards came out. She also enjoyed cooking, especially with butter. She spent time watching cooking shows and telling her family "if you want something to taste really good, just add more butter." It always smelled so good at Donna's house when she was cooking. Donna had a passion for the night sky. She loved to tell her family to look at the moon and remind them "no matter where you are, when you look at the moon think of me because we are always together when we are looking at the same moon." Donna will be greatly missed by many.
