Donna Mae Schneider daughter of Everett and Dorothy Winterboer was born January 26th 1958 in Spencer Iowa. She was raised by her mother in Peterson Iowa. She attended Sioux Valley School and graduated in 1977. While in high school she participated and excelled in basketball, softball, and high jumping. In 1982 Donna was united in marriage with Joseph Schneider and was blessed with her daughter Fallon and son Jacob. In 2005 Donna met Mike Struecker her significant other who remained by her side until her passing.
Donna worked in the manufacturing industry most of her life. She was dedicated, loyal, and extremely hard working. Donna was always willing to help in any way she could. She was a great mentor and fun to work with. Donna retired in 2023.
In her free time Donna enjoyed camping, gambling at the casino, and fishing. She would go golfing occasionally and explore sites pulling the camper with Mike. Donna loved her grandchildren. They were her world! Taking Alex and Joe camping, playing old yeller with Bryan, and just being the best Grandma ever. Donna’s family was important in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters JoAnn, Wanda, Suzy and her brother Jon. The family would even take vacations together.
Donna passed away April 18th 2025 in Emmetsburg Iowa at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Etta Winterboer, Aunt Fern Webster, Uncle Wendell Webster, Brother-in-law Paul Brainard Anderson and several other loved relatives and friends.
She is survived by her Daughter Fallon Andersen and her husband Kyle; Grandson’s Alex and Joseph; Granddaughter Kaylie all of Terril IA. Son Jacob Schneider and his wife Jessica; Grandson Bryan of Ruthven IA. Sister Wanda Willems and her husband Willie of Cleghorn, IA; Sister JoAnn Anderson of Omaha NE; Brother Jon Winterboer and wife Cherie of Peterson IA; Sister Suzy Vandersluis and significant other Steve Cargin of Sutherland IA; and many other relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.
