Donna Shikle Obituary
Ms Shikle was a teacher with degrees from Wallace State Community College, Athens State College, and studies at Alabama A&M University. She taught at Fairview High School and Vinemont High School.
Ms Shikle is survived by her parents, her son Cole E. Kelley, her daughter Madison D. Shikle, and her brothers Drew E. Green and Jonathan (Sherry) Green.
Visitation is Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Moss Chapel on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

I'm still at such a loss for words; I'm in shock. I talked to Donna just two weeks ago, and she was her same, sweet self. We laughed together many times. I remember a big snow and taking Cole out to sled. Happy times... I'm so sorry for Donna's passing. So very sorry. Prayers for comfort to you all.

Don and Dean, Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. We had known Donna since she taught our younger daughter, Karri, to swim and during her years as a teacher. Karri learned to swim and loved her as a teacher! This is such a great loss to you as parents and to her children. May God grant His peace to all of you during this time of grief. I've known Donna for many many years, since I was a kid. She taught me how to swim, and was my swim team coach later. I just saw her not too long ago, in town. She will be missed. A sweet, caring soul for sure!
