Our beloved mother and grandmother, Donna Lee Slaymaker, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the age of 94 ½ (a detail she always made sure we remembered), surrounded by her three children. Donna's passing marks the end of a remarkable life full of love, compassion, and service. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Slaymaker.
Donna was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy of love and generosity will live on through her children, Shawna (Danny) Corral, Gary (Linda) Slaymaker, Corky (Kathy) Slaymaker; her 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by forever remembered for her beautiful spirit and the love she so freely gave.
A memorial service will be held on July 2, 2025, at the Taylorsville Gardens Ward Meeting House located at 4252 South Bennion Road, Taylorsville, Utah. The viewing is 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM with the service starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Redwood Memorial Estates located at 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
