Donna Lee Smith

Donna Lee Smith, 83, of Pocahontas departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2026, in Pocahontas.

Donna was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Lee Litherland and Beatrice Brand on July 13, 1942. She was a member of Westridge Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lee Litherland and Beatrice Brand; husband, Norman D. Smith and daughter, Karen Velilla; siblings, Opal Deatherage, Maxine Bagwell and Carolyn Casteel

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Fletcher; grandchildren, Rodney Whitlow, Tosha Freeman, Jeremy Whitlow and Navaiah Freeman; great-grandson, Jakolby Freeman; sister, Debbie (Les) McPherson along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 am with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 am in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sutton Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care and friendship given to Donna and family.

Charles Seagraves.
