Donna Partee Spears, age 70, of Glenwood, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
She was born on January 5, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Walton "Cotton" Howard Partee and Gertie Mae Grooms Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Spears; her son, Charles McLean; her infant sister, Wanda Partee; and her brother, Billy Partee.
Donna attended Lakeside Baptist Church. She worked many years for Husqvarna as an assembly line leader. In her free time she loved being outdoors with her husband, Jack, where they loved camping and deer hunting. Donna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Wayne Logan of East Peoria, Illinois and Rita and Keith Risner of Glenwood; and her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Velda Partee of Hot Springs and Walton "Curly" and Shannon Partee of Daisy; her long time friend, Laura Tucker; and many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Dougan's Oak Park and Nightingale Nursing Home for their wonderful care.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
Interment will be held at Mount Joy Cemetery at a later date.
