Donna Ruth Turner, of Branch, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at home with family. She was born April 22, 1937 in Port Hueneme, California, to Don W. and Regina C. Mainer, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from County Line High School in 1955 and went on to earn a degree from Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Arkansas.

Donna married J.B. Turner, Jr. on September 6, 1958 and celebrated 66 years of happiness as a wife and mother. Her dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as her extended family including all of her in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews was something everyone saw and felt every day.

She was especially loving of her brothers and sister and enjoyed telling stories about their childhood adventures. Her brothers, Raymond and Gene and her sister, Neva remained her lifelong friends. Family was always Donna's priority.

She was a dedicated church member and continued to serve her community throughout her life.

A family held memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16th, at Branch United Methodist Church, 4 Prather, Branch, Ar 72928, with Rev. Judy Hall officiating.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Raymond Wesley Mainer and Gene Allen Mainer. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, J.B. Turner, Jr.; two daughters, Cathy Stillson and husband Phil of Owasso, Oklahoma and Pam Turner and husband Chris Mitchell of Norris, Tennessee; two sons, John Turner, III of Branch and Richard Turner and wife DiAnne of Fort Smith; a sister, Geneva Sue Goodson of Nashville, Arkansas; (9) grandchildren, Lauren Mitchell, Charlie Mitchell, Shelby Nelson, Jim Stillson, Evan Mitchell, Landon Turner, Brad Turner IV, Caitlin Stillson, and Maverick Turner; and (6) great-grandchildren, L.J. Turner, Dillon Macartney, Remy Mitchell, Maeve Turner, Lawson Macartney, and Wyatt Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Branch United Methodist Church, PO Box 4, Branch, AR 72928

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

To J.B., Cathy, Pam, Richard and John my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Your Mother was a sweet, kind and loving Lady.
