Donna Williams Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Donna Kay Williams, a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She left us on February 22, 2025, at the age of 72 . Born on March 8, 1952, Mrs. Williams lived a life full of love, adventure, and joy.

Mrs. Williams was a vibrant member of her community, known for her outgoing and feisty spirit. She had a passion for life and never met a stranger, making friends wherever she went. A true lover of travel, she cherished exploring new places and experiencing the world, especially with her Corvette Club and the GWRRA motorcycle group, which brought her endless joy.

For most of her adult life, Mrs. Williams worked at a bank processing loans, where she was admired for her work ethic and her warm, caring nature. She was always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word, and her family was always at the center of her heart.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her beloved children, Gary Freeman and Jodi Freeman; her husband, Charlie Williams; and her parents, Junior and Carolyn Martin. She is survived by her loving brothers, Tommy Martin (Vicky) and Scott Martin (Angie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will forever remember her infectious spirit and unwavering love.

She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 5-8pm at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, GA 30014. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 2pm in the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, with a burial immediately following at Corinth Cemetery in Stone Mountain.
