Donna F. Winsor

Winsor Donna F. Dec. 10, 1932 - Oct. 21, 2025 Age 92, of Bryn Mawr, died in her sleep October 21, 2025. Born Donna L. Fiester in Picture Rocks, PA, in 1932, she earned a B.S. in nursing and an M.S.W. in Social Work/Counseling. She taught nursing at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Known for her love of family, animals and nature, she had a steady and fun-loving disposition, patience, humor, modesty and diligence. She was president of her junior and senior high school classes. She was an avid gardener and horse/animal lover with a soft spot for young people. A dedicated Bridlewild Trails Association officer and volunteer, U.S. Pony Clubs district commissioner and longtime volunteer, she advocated for open space and conservation. She married James D. Winsor, IV, Ardmore, PA, upon college graduation and lived in Stuttgart, Germany, while he served as U.S. Army Second Lieutenant. They have two grown children, Susan F. Winsor (David Zanussi) and James Davis Winsor; and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Bridlewild Trails Assn., Gladwyne, PA. A Celebration of Life is pending in 2026.
