Donnarae Jane Hash

1937-2025

Donna Jane Hash, born on March 22, 1937, in Albany, Georgia, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 22, 2025, in Whitsett, North Carolina, at the age of 88.

At the tender age of two, Donna moved from Georgia to South Omaha, Nebraska, where she spent her formative years. She cherished her time there and held fond memories of her childhood in Nebraska, living there for about twenty years.

Early in her career, Donna worked as a teller in the banking industry. Later, she dedicated herself to nurturing young lives by running an in-home daycare alongside her beloved husband, Samuel Hash. Eventually, she embraced the fulfilling role of a homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her family.

Donna was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Samuel Hash, and six of her siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her children, Kim Stoneking of Whitsett, North Carolina; Mike White of Murietta, California; Nancy Taylor and her husband, Wayne, of Sedro Wooley, Washington; Linda Corcoran and her husband, Tim, of Ottawa, Kansas; and Sandra Clark of Whitsett, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria Long of Bellevue, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one cherished great-great-grandchild.

In honor of Donna's wishes, the family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of customary remembrances, please consider making a memorial contribution to a charity of the donor's choosing.

Donna Jane Hash will be remembered for her dedication to family and her gentle, nurturing spirit. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
