Donnell B. Rice, a beloved member of our community, departed this world on 20, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on January 21, 1942, in Hephzibah, Georgia, Donnell embodied warmth and kindness that touched the lives of many throughout her 84 years on this earth.
Donnell's vibrant spirit and gentle nature were evident in every facet of her life. She approached each day with joy, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a comforting word. Her infectious laughter and loving demeanor made her a cherished friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. The memories created in her company will forever be a source of solace for those left behind.
Her journey of life was one rich in meaningful relationships, each contributing to the tapestry of her story. Donnell's unwavering support for her family and friends, whether through a kind word or a warm embrace, will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
To honor Donnell's life and legacy, family and friends are invited to celebrate her memory at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. A viewing will be held on March 7, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Donnell will then be laid to rest in the serene grounds of South View Cemetery, with interment beginning at 12:15 PM.
As we say farewell to a remarkable woman, we remember her strength, compassion, and the profound impact she had on our lives. We take comfort in knowing that Donnell's spirit will live on in our hearts, guiding us with the love she so freely gave.
