Donnie Ray Dixson, age 71, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1954, in Abilene, Texas, to William and Ada Belle (McHan) Dixson.
Donnie was known for his enthusiasm for showing cars, a hobby that brought him much joy and earned him several trophies over the years. His passion also extended to Harley Davidson motorcycles, which he cherished throughout his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Dixson; mother, Ada Belle Dixson; daughter, Hallie Faye Dixson; son, Christopher Don Dixson; and his brothers, Kenneth, David, and Hugh Edward Dixson, as well as his sister, Shirley Moore.
Donnie is survived by his sister, Beverly Westbrook, along with countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous other loved ones who will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.
A memorial service honoring Donnie's life will be held at the Cedar Creek Church of God in Gun Barrel City on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2 PM, with Glenn Dyson officiating.
