Donnie Dale Douglas, age 77, of Ashland city, TN, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, surrounded by his family at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Donnie was born on November 3, 1946, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Rayburn Douglas and Esther Lorene Shepherd Douglas. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Marie Douglas, brother, Eugene Douglas, and sister, Hazel Garner. He is survived by his son, Christopher Douglas, daughter, Lisa Douglas, sisters, Sarah Pentecost, Annie Bone and grandchildren, Kaelynn Douglas, Heath McPherson and Peyton McPherson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Donnie will be laid to rest at Mallory Cemetery.
