Mr. Donnie Lee Talent, age 74, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in The Springs of Magnolia Health and Rehab in Magnolia, Arkansas.
He was born on October 5, 1950, in Henrietta, Texas. He loved his son, Michael, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved his job.
Mr. Talent was preceded in death by his parents, John Matthew Talent and Verna Gallager Caldwell.
He is survived by one son, Michael Talent of De Queen; four grandchildren, Daniel Lindsey and KK of De Queen, Trista Bailey of Lockesburg, Shennel Deer and Brandon of Dierks, Hunter Funck of De Ridder, Louisiana; 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson on the way; one sister, Sue Talent of Poteau, Oklahoma; one nephew, Michael Sutton of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Crystal Maynard, who he thought of as a daughter and her family.
Graveside funeral service for Mr. Talent will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2025, in Strawn Cemetery in Little River with Audie Dawson officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 3rd, at the funeral home in De Queen.
