Visitation will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033. A funeral service celebrating his life will be Tuesday January 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.
Donny Joe Gamble, age 53, passed away on January 23, 2025, in Keene, Texas. He was born on January 20, 1972, in Altus, Oklahoma, and brought joy to countless lives during his time with us.
Donny was a remarkable individual who had an innate ability to connect with people. He loved to go out and meet new faces and truly never met a stranger. His vibrant personality shone brightly as he was known to be a big jokester and prankster, always ready to bring a smile or a laugh to anyone around him. He had a zest for life that was evident in his love for travel and casinos.
Donny was the kindest person one could meet. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would do anything for anyone in need, embodying a spirit of generosity and compassion. He was described as the glue of his family, a steadfast presence who loved them dearly.
He is survived by his sisters, Lee Ann Garcia (Michael), Patty Smith, and Terry Craig (Robert); his brothers, Raymond Gamble, Jerry Gamble (Leesa), and Bradley Russell; nieces, Jessica Sanchez, Hannah Garcia, Terry Lynn Nunley, Lydia Alvis, Cari Timm, Roberta Rangel, Shady Gamble, Sarah Gamble, Clarissa Mann, nephews, Robert Nunley, Derek Craig, Cody Juarez, Jerry Gamble, Fabian Gamble, and Isaac Gamble, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
Donny was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Donny Russell and Jackie Gamble; his partner, Dennis Nickles; and his sister Debbie Gamble.
Donny Joe Gamble will be remembered for his joyful spirit, unwavering kindness, and the love he shared freely with all who knew him.
