Dontale Wright, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, departed this world on December 11, 2023, at the age of 45. He was born on March 13, 1978, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the proud parents Ms. Emma Wright and Bishop Morris L. Terry.
Dontale was a cherished member of a large and loving family, with six sisters and seven brothers. His sisters include Donnielle Wright, Donshell Wright, Diane Terry, Aja Terry, Jannaa Jones Terry (Deceased), and Charlesa Shihadeh. His brothers are Donquiste Wright, Brian Nelson (Deceased), Morris Terry Jr., Keba Barrett, Christopher Terry, Marsean Scott, and Kevin Barrett. Dontale's familial bonds were strong, and he found joy in the shared experiences and support of his brothers and sisters.
Dontale embraced the role of uncle with a heart full of love and devotion. He leaves behind a legacy of nephews and nieces who will forever cherish the memories they created with their uncle: Christopher Howard, Dinesia Randolph, Delon Brown-Nelson, Briana Nelson, Donovan Wright, Elise Arnold, Elgin Arnold, Dominic Wright, Lily Glorianna Wright (his birthday buddy), Cortez Barrett, Chloe Barrett, Kaiya Terry, Wesley Terry, and Morris Terry III (Tre').
Dontale's passions were as diverse as the love he had for his family. He found joy in the thrill of sports, the intensity of wrestling, the beauty of music, and the solace of praising the Lord. His exuberance for life and his ability to find joy in simple pleasures endeared him to those around him.
As we mourn the loss of Dontale, let us remember the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of his family and friends. May his spirit live on in the memories we hold dear, and may he find eternal peace in the loving arms of the Lord.
