Donte Adam Weigel

Donte Adam Weigel, 18, of Commerce City, Colorado passed away on February 15, 2026. Donte was born on June 5, 2007 in Brighton, Colorado to Maxine Weigel and Gavrin Flores.

Donte graduated from Prairie View High School in May 2025. He worked incredibly hard during his senior year to graduate on time, an accomplishment he was very proud of. His determination and perseverance were recognized when he received the school's 'Phoenix Award.'

Donte had a deep love for music which led him to rapping and creating his own songs. He also loved driving around in his car, spending time with family and making people around him laugh. He had a smile that radiated when he came into a room. Known for his goofy personality and big heart, Donte was always willing to help others. He especially cherished his time spent with his younger siblings and cousins.

Donte is survived by his mother, Maxine Weigel; his father, Gavrin Flores; and his co-parent, Steven Holder. He is also survived by his younger siblings, many loving grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Donte will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, smile, laughter and the love he had for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on March 28, 2026 at 10:00 am. Hope in the City Church, 6405 Monaco St., Commerce City, CO 80022.
