Dontell, a kindhearted soul, was born in Demopolis, Alabama, to Angela Jones Bowen and Larry Eutesy. Dontell spent his early years surrounded by love and laughter, shaping him into the caring man everyone cherished. Dontell graduated from East Bay Senior High School.
Gifted in the art of hospitality, Dontell had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and valued. His passion for serving others extended beyond work, he was deeply involved in his community and consistently gave his time to organizations and causes close to him. Dontell knew the Lord and was continuing to grow in his relationship with Jesus Christ. His faith gave him strength, peace, and purpose, and it was evident in the way he loved others and lived his life with compassion and grace.
Dontell shared a beautiful, loving relationship with his fiancé, Joseph Belisle, with whom he built a life full of joy, laughter, and unconditional love. He loved shopping, listening to music, relaxing at the beach, spending time with family and creating memories that will forever be cherished.
With a personality larger than life, Dontell had a magnetic presence that filled every room he entered. His laughter, style, and genuine spirit drew people in and made every gathering brighter. Dontell will be remembered for his generosity, his light, and the love he poured into everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dontell leaves to honor and cherish his memory his devoted Fiancé, Joseph Belisle; loving Mother Angela Jones Bowen (Elvin), Father Larry Eutesy (Cassandra), Grandmother Linda James, loving Brothers Jason Jones (Kim), Antione Jones, Jamarus Eutesy, Anthony "AJ" Waiters, Seleem Lintz, Dwayne Bowen, Elvin Bowen Jr. (Jenelli). Beautiful Sisters Qushanda Eutesy, Lillian Garrett, Domonique Jones.
Dontell has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved Dad Freeman Jones, loving brothers Roland (Naima) and Bobby (Deanna) Jones. Grandparents Mose and Minnie Peacock, Leroy and Pauline Tartt. Lastly The Matriarch Lillie Mae Dunn whose enduring love and strength paved the way for generations to come.
Dontell also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever treasure his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. His presence touched everyone he met, and his legacy of love and laughter will live on in each of them.

Dear favorite cousin,
Thank you for being kind. Thank you for being smart.. thank you for leading your family. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the hugs. Thank you for the tough love you gave. Thank you for making me feel safe. Thank you for always responding to any text I sent no matter the time or day. Thank you for defending your family. Thank you for all the jokes and stories we´ve shared from the very beginning. Thank you for being you.

I´m not ready to talk about all the plans we had made in the cousin group chat and to be honest I´m not sure I want to do those things without you.

Grief is such an abstract feeling to experience. I feel sad living life like nothing happened when the world lost you. I´m going to miss you commenting on my food posts on social media or the post of tiona and I on one of our sister Saturdays. I´m going to miss the stories you told me about our trips to Florida when I was younger and the stories you told about granny. I´m going to miss the crooked face you made when something didn´t make any sense to you. I´m going to miss you yelling at Domo´s dog. I´m going to miss you.

I´ll take comfort in knowing you´re not hurting anymore and you´re with our loved ones who moved on before you. Visit me in my dreams.

My guardian angel, I love you and I´ll see you again.

Dontell, The joy, laughter, and comfort you have filled everyone with who you came in contact with will be missed. I love you cousin, life just got a little harder to live without you here but death has become a little less scary knowing you and our relatives in heaven will be waiting for us when our time to meet you at the gates arrives. I miss you, I love you, and I thank you.
