Fresno, California - Dora Faye Becker (Bourland) passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 82 in Fresno, California. She was born on June 20, 1941, in Yuba City, California. Dora is survived by her husband, Jack, her daughter Laura Holt, her son Warren, her grandchildren Jacquelyn and Garrett Holt, her sister/cousin Billy Ruth Dodson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

After both parents died at an early age, Dora and her brother Dale were taken in and raised by their wonderful and loving Aunt and Uncle, Ruth and Bill Bourland. Dora married her high school sweetheart, Jack Becker, in 1962. During her almost 62 years of marriage, she lived in various cities, following Jack in his 36 year career with the Highway Patrol. During this time she had a diverse career working as a Dental Nurse, an Apartment Manager, and as a Business Owner. After moving to the LA area, she quickly learned how to navigate the freeway system, became an excellent driver, and excelled at guiding her loved ones to any attraction or location during visits. She was renowned for her talent in creating beautiful custom wedding cakes, panoramic Easter eggs, and her professional interior and holiday decorating skills.

Contributions in memory of Dora Faye Becker can be made to The Cat House on the Kings at 7120 S Kings River Rd, Parlier, CA 93648. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday May 11th at 1:30pm at the Clovis Funeral Chapel, 1302 Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
